Mission Statement: Trusting in God to guide us, we are a youth-oriented group that strives to serve the church and community by bringing light to darkness and creating excitement about God and our church. We inspire each other and grow and share our faith by glorifying God. We will try to increase involvement by publicizing and education all people about our events as a church.

This council is made up of Junior and Senior High youth, parents, advisors and church officers. The group is elected to serve as representatives for everyone involved in the SVPC Youth Program. Their responsibilities include: setting and maintaining goals for the program, planning and leading events, making policy decisions, making disciplinary decisions (if necessary), advertising the program and encouraging volunteers. At the end of every school year, youth may apply to be on the Youth Council and are expected to serve for two years.
