Montreat is the Presbyterian Conference Center located approximately 17 miles east of Asheville, NC and just north of Black Mountain, NC.  Every fall, members of SVPC go to Montreat for the weekend (Friday-Sunday). Activities include your choice of any combination of relaxing on the porch, hiking up Lookout Mountain, visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway or shopping in Asheville and Black Mountain. Group functions include dinner in Black Mountain on Saturday night followed by a campfire at the campground, and casual worship together on Sunday morning. This is a fun weekend with family and other church members.
