Thursday Morning Breakfast
A warm, friendly group meets for breakfast in Potts Fellowship Hall each Thursday morning.  Participants gather in the kitchen about 6:30 AM, assist in preparation as needed, and are usually seated at the table, with food, by 7:55 AM.  Breakfast usually consists of bacon, eggs, grits, pancakes, coffee and juice.  In season the pancakes may include blueberries, and tomatoes for those who eat them.  Following breakfast, the group engages in a brief period of Bible Study, usually focused on the Lectionary text for the followng Sunday.  If there are special concerns in the life of the church, they are lifted up in prayer.
 
 
By 8:00 AM, maybe earlier,  those who can, stay and help with clean up.  Those who are unable to stay, because of work schedules or other commitments, are free to leave.  This is a very open group which has been in existence for about 15 years.  Everyone is invited.
