Middle School Division

Sixth & Seventh Grade

 
The Sixth and Seventh grade class will use also use Akaloo curriculum.  They will participate in a variety of different activities as they study each Bible story.  There will be a strong focus on what the Bible story personally means to them and how they can continue to grow in their faith.

8th Grade - Confirmation
Confirmation class is available to eighth graders.  Participants study the Bible, Reformed theology, and the history of the Presbyterian Church.  They are then given the opportunity to decide to take on their baptismal vows for themselves, thereby becoming church members.  The Confirmation class uses the curriculum We Believe! Processing Our Faith.  Additionally, Confirmands are expected to attend our Fall Retreat as well as engage in memorization, weekly homework, and service projects.

 

 

Each Confirmand is accompanied on their journey with both a Covenant Partner and an “Ex-Con”, (Ex-Confirmand). These people serve as a mentor and guide to the Confirmand throughout the year.
