VBS: Exploration through the Rainforest

More than 120 kids participated in SVPC's Vacation Bible School this summer featuring a Rainforest Adventure theme.  During the week of June 16-20, the church took on a striking resemblance to an Amazon rainforest, and participants loved it.

Every day children studied a different Bible passage illustrating a particular theme. Over the course of the week, attendees learned to share, give, grow, love and praise. They participated in different activities including arts and crafts, science, storytelling, music and games to help make the stories come to life.   More than 40 adults and youth volunteered to ensure the week was successful.

We are looking forward to next year's VBS where the theme will be "Discovery Canyon."
